Now with the Mews Booking Engine you can automate card payment preauthorization in the booking process itself to securely validate funds on your guests' credit cards before their arrival. This ensures a smooth and efficient check in process while significantly improving the overall guest experience.

Previously, it was only possible to submit preauthorization for later processing. Mews can now perform preauthorization live during the booking process, offering immediate card validation. The booker can confirm and make a payment when selecting a rate. This initiates preauthorization upon confirmation in real-time within the Mews Booking Engine, with no delay in payment card verification.

Pre-arrival preauthorization means you can:

• Streamline the check in process: Properties can quickly verify the guest's credit card details, reducing check in time and administrative hassles.
