Speed up the billing process for long stays—group items by month on the billing screen.

Managing long stays just got faster and easier, thanks to improvements we've made to the billing screen.

Previously, items on the billing screen were only grouped by reservation. This could be a bit unwieldy, especially for properties with lots of long stays.

Now, we’ve added the ability to group items on the billing screen by month, making it much easier to grab items from multiple nights and move them to other bills.

This will streamline the process of managing long stays, so you can focus on guests, not admin.

New notifications let users know as soon as they’ve been assigned a task.

When tasks are created in Mews, it’s important assignees see them as soon as possible to better organize and prioritize their days. We‘ve been working hard to improve Mews and make sure that happens.

Now, when a task is created and assigned to a user, that user will see a notification at the top of their screen. If that user isn’t currently logged in to Mews, they’ll see the notification as soon as they are. Best of all, the task notification is interactive, so assignees can view the task right away with a single click.

In addition, if one of your channel manager integrations becomes partially or fully disabled due to a mapping error or invalid credentials, Mews will automatically create a task and send a notification to the responsible department or, if no department has been assigned, to all admin users.

Choose the ideal time to send Online Check-out emails.

We've made the send time for Online Check-out emails customizable, so now you can choose the best time to send these emails to guests.

Previously, Online Check-out emails were sent to guests at 5pm the day before their check-out. But we understand that each property is unique. Want to add that night's dinner to guest bills before the emails go out? Just schedule them to send later in the evening. Whatever the reason, the choice is yours.

We've made this update to offer more customization and flexibility so you can offer guests more remarkable experiences.

Space status colors are now more vibrant and easily distinguishable.

We’ve made Space status colors more vibrant to allow for a clearer and more easily distinguishable view of your reservation and housekeeping states on the Mews dashboard, Reservation module, and the Timeline. House use is now purple and an Out of order room is yellow, not black.

The Mews Timeline also has color identifiers along with space numbers, so you can easily differentiate between reservation states.
