Reduce unintentional overbookings with intelligent inventory updates in Channel manager queue items.

Overbookings put business financials, guest experience, and your property's reputation at risk. Our new intelligent inventory updates in the Channel manager queue items can help you:

  • decrease the likelihood of unintentional overbookings, and
  • keep an eye on timeouts and failed items, so you can immediately correct any discrepancies.

Intelligent updates to queue items

  • To avoid long processing times when connected to several distribution channels, Mews now prioritizes updates to items with stay dates closer to the current date. For example: Mews processes items with stay dates upcoming in two weeks before items with stay dates upcoming in four months.
  • This helps you cut the cost of upgrading guests and saves you the time spent correcting errors.

Channel manager queue: Visual indicators

The new Details column in the queue displays items by date, with color formatting to emphasize their importance.

New notification system

A new, improved notification system for timeouts and failed items alerts you to correct any discrepancies immediately when the transfer is out of Mews' control. For example, partner timeouts and momentary performance issues.
