Optimize your payment preauthorizations.
Payments just got streamlined. Now, Mews releases all automatically preauthorized payments 24 hours after guests leave, providing enough time to deduct any damages or incidentals if necessary, and saving staff from the hassle of manual releases.
To set up this automation, adjust settlements to automatic and click create preauthorization. Then choose when you want the preauthorization to go through.
Additionally, when you manually create a new preauthorization for online payments and through your Mews terminal you can now select a specific expiration date up to 28 days later.
