Let your guests choose a greener planet with the Hotels for Trees integration.
The Hotels for Trees integration is now available on the Mews Marketplace.
With this add-on, you can give your guests the opportunity to have a tree planted when they choose to skip cleaning during their stay. This can be done by:
- Guests during online check in
- Front office staff during in-person check ins
- Housekeeping staff via the Mews app
The newly digitalized experience helps reduce labor costs, makes housekeeping more efficient and reduces operational strain, all the while making the planet a little greener.
Previously, Hotels for Trees could only be managed manually, with signs that guests would hang on the door of their room. Now, spaces where guests chose to skip cleaning, have a hanger icon next to the room number.

Note: This functionality is currently only available for short stays with a maximum of 3 nights to plant a maximum of 1 tree per stay.
