You can now automatically create a new reservation when a customer extends their stay, preserving the original reservationβs details in Mews Operations.
This update improves operational control for properties that handle corporate contracts and strict payment agreements. If a guest decides to extend their stay outside of corporate agreements, for example, if they pay for the extension themselves, you can now manage reservation date changes more efficiently.
Whatβs new:
Simplified reservation date management: Easily split reservations by extended dates, with automatic reservation creation. Note: Mews applies the default rate to the new reservation. If needed, you can adjust the rate.
Minimize billing discrepancies: Keep billing consistent by preserving the originally booked items and dates, reducing the risk of invoice rejections.
Automatic cancellation fee calculation: Mews now automatically calculates and displays cancellation fees for shortened stays.
