Introducing a more efficient, reliable, and transparent way to handle bill adjustments.

Experiencing delays and errors during checkout due to bill disputes and corrections is a common frustration for hotel guests and staff. The traditional process has been unmanageable, prone to difficulties, and time-consuming, often leading to a negative last impression for guests.

With flexible open-bill corrections, Mews simplifies and accelerates the bill-correction process. Now, users can effortlessly edit or remove items directly on the Billing screen. This feature provides a cleaner final bill presentation and captures the reason for each correction, ensuring compliance and traceability.

What's new:

  • Simplified bill-corrections: Easily remove or edit the price and quantity of products directly from the items in the bill.
  • Reason for correction: Capture the reason for each correction, enhancing audit capabilities.
  • Clearer bill presentation: Adjusted items are eliminated from the original bill, ensuring clarity and accuracy for the guest.
  • Dedicated corrections counter: Mews automatically creates a counter posting for corrected items, guaranteeing compliance with accounting principles.
  • Enhanced tracking: After an employee makes a correction, staff can view the details and locate associated bills on the customer Dashboard. Trace all changes in the bill and order item action logs for improved oversight and fraud prevention.
