๐Ÿ”„๏ธ Check out guests faster with a more seamless check out experience

Last-minute issues during check out are the worst! You work hard to create an incredible guest experience, only to stumble at the finish line.

Previously, unpaid items and deposits blocked reservations from being checked out, even when those items and deposits were balanced.

Whatโ€™s more, even though reservations with balanced unpaid items and deposits are technically eligible for check out, they would previously appear as โ€˜unavailable for check-outโ€™ in the Check out report. Talk about frustrating!

So, we made checking out guests with unpaid items or deposits a whole lot easier!

Whatโ€™s new:

  • Unpaid items and deposits no longer block check out: Attempting to check out a guest with unpaid items or deposits no longer blocks the check out โ€“ provided that the items and deposits are balanced and linked only to the reservation being checked out.

  • Automatic billing: If the unpaid items and deposits meet the above conditions, the system now automatically bills and closes them at check out, saving you from time-wasting manual adjustments. How good is that?

  • More useful Check-out reports: Reservations with balanced unpaid items and deposits now appear as โ€˜available for check-outโ€™ in the Check-out Report, giving your team an accurate snapshot of ready-to-check-out guests.

  • Time saving for your team: Less time adjusting bills means more time focused on what really matters: the guest experience!
