Cancel availability blocks for a complete overview of your block revenue.
You can now cancel availability blocks and get a complete overview of potential, confirmed, and canceled group reservations.
This means revenue managers and the sales team can compare the group reservations that result in a loss with those that have the highest return and adjust future revenue decisions to boost sales.
You can:
- Cancel availability blocks when they contain no reservations or only canceled reservations.
- Restore canceled availability blocks in case of late confirmations or accidental cancellations.
- Analyze the Availability block report and the Availability & occupancy report to calculate the lost potential revenue and compare it to the occupancy demand.
Note:
- Employees need the Manage availability permission to cancel availability blocks.
- You cannot make any availability adjustments after you cancel a block.
- You need to manually add reservations back to a restored block.
